OK - I dumped the POST variables and the Vista Home machine is empty after
receiving the username and password. On the other machines the dump shows
them correctly.

Here's something else that I noticed. I have a "Forgot Password" link on
the screen and if I hover on it, it shows &PHPSESSID and a long string of
numbers which is not on the other machines
