Hi there...
Is it possible to access data in specific cells or named ranges of Excel
spreadsheet files with PHP or SQL?
I need to AUTOMATE financial statement creation from a bunch of sequentially
named *.xls files. My thinking is if i can get PHP to filter the files by
the dates in a certain cell.... then i can dump the info into a MySQL
database and from there it should be fairly straight forward to print out a
listing of selected fields.
I have been looking into xls formulas but can't seem to atomatically
generate lines depending on the contents of the date cell.
