Old age. As the years go by, people tend to get stubborner, crankier, and
more argumentative. Just look at Duende. You seem to be approaching the
octogenarian plateau posthaste so I'd venture to guess that time is taking
its toll on your tush at relativistic speeds these days. However, if such
is _not_ the case, then you're just neurotic.
