Well, I _said_ I already have Flash 9. So, _you_ are apparently saying
that Flash 9 is not capable of rendering .flv container files at the same
time you are saying that it is. Talk about schizophrenic!

Well, you're right in the sense that I don't feel as if I should have to
spend inordinate amounts of time "keeping up" with all the new crap that
comes out which will eventually end up in the trash bin, anyway.
There will always be some demand for animation and other related
dynamics. Whether Flash will ultimately fulfill that need remains to be
seen, but I think it's taken a step backwards with this so-called "new
technology" which certainly don't seem to be worth a shit as far as I can
see.
