Hi
I'm running a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, with an IIS and SQLServer
2000. I need for the SQLServer to be able to send mail's via th xp_sendmail
sp in the master db.
For some reason i can't do that. When i try to attach a mail profile, there
aren't any to be found. I have installed outlook 2003 and configured an
account via the Exchange server, with the profile name SQLService for easy
locating. Both the Outlook client and the SQL Server log's on with the
systems administrator account, so there should be at least one profile to be
found... This is how ever not the case...
Could someone point me to a tutorial explaining how to setup this particular
part of SQLServer 2000 or maybe give some pointers.. We have a site running
on the IIS and it won't send out mail as it shoul due to this fact, since
the ASP.NET app uses triggers in the SQL db to do so....
Any help would be greatly appriciated...
/Finn
