Which is why I didn't like any of the reports referred to here. None of
them provide enough information to replicate the results - an important
validation point.
Both languages are good. And unless I expect problems for one reason or
another, performance is not a criteria I generally rate very high in
determining what language to use. It's seldom a problem in either
language, and if is going to be a problem, it probably will in both.
