Which reminds me of the visiting rabbi at the village funeral of a not very
popular feller. "Would someone please say something nice about the deceased
now."
The small group shuffled, looked down at their feet awkwardly, and were
unforthcoming.
"C'mon, surely someone can say at least one good thing about this man? It is
a necessary part of the ceremony. It is traditional for God's sake!" pleaded
the rabbi.
From the back of the attending group, a man, not looking up and still
shuffling awkwardly blurted out: "His brother was worse!"
