Didn't understand that You asking about editor rather than assigning a real
application to deal with PHP files.
Ok, I've using FAR Manager for all kind of programming.
Even coding the Delphi things I'd better use internal FAR editor than Delphi
IDE.

I've posted before - I'm using PHP to "open" PHP files.

As far as I do not use Explorer, it is an academical question what icon is
assigned to file. Thinking about it, I'd better use standard (PHP) logo.
But I have all executable files colored green and marked with asterisk in FAR.
