Believe it or not - some folks spam just for the fun of spamming.
No profit-motive whatsoever.
I was inline at the local gas station and heard a fellow talking to his
buddy about it.
Said he'd logged on pretending to be from Mobil Oil and how coool it was
that some people believed him.
Weird, eh?
In last month's issue of Wired magazine, there's an interesting article
about these kinds of personalities.
The topic is nominally about "micro-celebrity", but it relates.
