 The respective programs all do PDF output.
 
 
 And beariung in mind that PDF is reducing the actual content of e.g. a
 quark file CONSIDERABLY via a load pdf selectable options, its probably
 true to say that no one bit of software other than Quark will make a
 decent fist of it, and certainly not in the public domain.
 
 You are probably stuck with acquiring the relevant programs yourself at
 considerable cost - ok open office will read WORD - or contracting the
 job out to a graphics software house that has them, and will charge youy
 a swingeing rate to tie up a machine and graphics person doing the
 conversions for you.
