That's the downside of HTTP authentication - I don't think you can "get
rid of them" as such. There are some solutions out there, like
resetting the username and password to something that does not
authenticate on your site, but if I recall correctly, it's quite
cumbersome (I may be wrong). Of course, when the user closes the
browser window, they are logged out :)
