....and how often are either of those sites mentioned in mainstream
media? Yeah...never. I mean take whatreallyhappened.com, the
shitload of advertising you get right on the front page is enough to
make most users just start hammerin that back button. Same deal with
Fark.com, it's covered in so much advertising bullshit that the level
of content one gets is minimal at best. You can have the best content
in the world, but it's covered in crap it's not doin anyone any good.
You know what sites like Fark.com are good for...proggies like
WebReaper...just rip all the content right off their fuckin server,
don't even bother going to their site through a browser.

Which sites are you refering to EXACTLY? I mean last I check the NP
Index for example had like 6 fuckin megabytes worth of text content
and is the most accurate Nintendo Power index that exists...it's even
more accurate and gives more detailed information than the Nintendo
Power index that Nintendo themselves made (which only covered the
first 50 volumes). *shrugs*
Or take the CB site, there's over FIFTY MEGABYTES worth of video,
songs, sound clips, stories, fan art, screen caps, comics, etc, etc,
etc.
And the Iron Art Shop, holy shit, have you LOOKED at teh inventory?
There's like over 200 products to browse through...and hey...no
spam...no shit...and a kick ass design.

And hey, I greatly recommend it for people who wish that they were
blind. If you use it on my Backwater site you can see all the text
content without any graphics at all, it's the perfect solution for
deficient black and white TV watching ludites like
