sscanf($data,"<a class=\"%s\" href=\"%s\">%s</a>", $class, $href, $text);
echo "Class = $class<br>";
echo "href = $href<br>";
echo "test = $text<br>";
?>

Another way is:

list ($class, $href, $text) = sscanf($data,"<a class=\"%s\"
href=\"%s\">%s</a>");
echo "Class = $class<br>";
