It's easy to set up Apache, PHP, MySQL on Windows XP (Home or Professional).
Just go to
http://www.apache2triad.net
and download the file. Double click on the installer and it's installed
and ready to go. Apache2Triad also installs Perl and Python. To test
your PHP scripts, just put them in the following folder:
C:\apache2triad\htdocs\
Run your scripts by typing "localhost" into your browser.
The following link will access the Apache2Triad control panel -- I prefer
to turn off the "autostart" on all the services and only start Apache and
MySQL when I need them:
