That depends on which applications you are using,
in general you need a central database where you retrieve the data to check
the logins.
If you are referring to php scripts (not encoded) the use of a central
database for the login data can be achieved without alot of problems.
For applications without source code if there are no methods to change the
source of the data for the logins the problems can be several and they must
be individually.
