I must admit I quite like this. There's nothing there which is technically
difficult, but pulling it altogether into a cohesive whole must have taken
quite a bit of effort, and it certainly seems a very original idea.
I did something with "liquid backgrounds" about 9 months ago but it's
nowhere near the same level of complexity -- whatsmore it uses a
pre-generated set of resized images. I would imagine that generating them
on the fly as you do would put quite a bit of CPU load on your server.
