Hi

I wish to build a system for myself. It has to authorize users in
connection with MySQL database and then execute the shell script
(operating on a firewall).

I know PHP, a little but know very little about CGI (Perl/C++) and here
comes my question. I know that this can be done using either of them,
but which one will be more secure or using which one it is better/easier
to build a secure app.
