Hi,
I guess it depends what the end result is... Are you doing this becuase
you have to, because you want to learn the language, or because you
_need_ a photoalbum...
If the latter there are lots of systems available. Photoalbums are
actually more complex due to the graphics manipulation( to create
thumbnails) and indexing issues, not to mention privileges to define who
can see, who can upload etc.
have a look for
gallery
phpgraphy
to name but two well supported open source solutions.
