Flash is good for =some= things. Think good and hard as to whether it
is good for =your= thing.
One problem with =using= flash, especially inappropriately, is that
doing so helps cement flash into the user base, and that, since flash
domination helps advertisers foist jumpy animations on us, since Flash
canNOT be turned off at the browser level, and most users don't know
(how) to install additional software to defeat this tool for theft of
attention. This is a Bad Thing. It should be considered against
whatever benefit flash brings to your site.
