This turns out to be an Opera-only issue. Margin:auto in Opera (8.02)
caused the menu to lock to the left margin. I've tried
margin-left/right:auto. NG. I've tried putting it in a centered container.
NG. It works fine in FF and IE.

I've now changed all font sizes to %.
