When I was a child, I preferred the chromatic trinity of chartreuse,
vermilion, and magenta on all things but peanut butter and jelly
sandwiches. Of course I was psychotic, so you may need to add a little
orange to alleviate the stigma of the pastels.
(Seriously, bright red, blue, and yellow would probably be the 3 top
choices.)
