Why would you want to? "Hi, my page is valid!" just encourages people to
check, and you look a right plonker if errors are thrown up.

The validator says that "you may" when it confirms that a page is valid. I
think there is a license around with specifics, but I'm not sure where it
is. Certainly its not a good idea to claim validity that you don't have.
