Hideous, pure 1997 design.
Usability is neglible. Read Joe Clarke's book (on the web too) and see
if you can improve things.

Dump the applets. Dump _all_ applets. If you _must_ do this stuff
(which you needn't), then do it server-side.
On the whole, start again from scratch. It's awful
