I was reading up on preloading last week when I first discovered the term
on the Alt.net FAQ. That's what Kadaitcha Man does to hide that he posts
through the Alt.net server. I don't think my newsreader has that
ability. And I don't think Bubbanews allows that either. I also noticed
that my headers change their order when I start a new thread from a
reply (in order to do that I have to use EDIT HEADER PART from the EDIT
menu and remove the REFERENCE header, and for some reason when I do that
it moves the X-NEWSREADER and X-NO-ARCHIVE headers up a few notches), but
it doesn't do it when I use CREATE A NEW ARTICLE. I still have to find
some time to study the advanced features of my newsreader. What I like
most about WinVN is that it is really easy to use and it doesn't take up
too much RAM. A buddy of mine from work uses it at the job and he turned
me on to it. I started posting to newsgroups from Google with IE. That
sucked. I moved up to WinVN about two months ago and I'm happy with it,
though I don't have any experience with another newsreader to compare it
to. I'm surprised I don't see anyone else using it, considering all the
headers I've been reading lately.
