I've never seen a baby seagull.
Little known fact though: people often think that they never see baby
pigeons. In fact, the pigeons you see around the city *are* the babies.
Fully grown pigeons, should they survive their often hazardous infancy,
grow to a wingspan of 9 foot; they retire to the mountains and pick off
the occasional tourist.
