He dropped into the-newsgroup-that-shall-not-be-named-in-AWW a couple
of years ago. He had been spending a lot of time in the weight-loss
newsgroups and had lost enough weight that such a loss for me (I'm
*under*weight) would have put me six feet under. Someone else was
trolling the newsgroup calling anyone who couldn't deal with SPAM [sic]
a bunch of sissies and Ritzman popped up with "You're new at this, aren't
you?" or something like that. It cracked me right up!

The latest I could find of his in Usenet is from January this year
in another newsgroup, alt.fan.cecil-adams (I hope I got the spelling
right).

His website at http://www.supertroll.com/ currently just shows a Flash
image of an overweight rabbit (which resizes itself to fit your browser
window). It used to have a cartoon of a caped green troll with an 'S' on
his chest.

For others who are wondering what or who we are writing about (or think
there was no humour in my earlier post in this thread), see one of the
FAQs for the-newsgroup-that-shall-not-be-named-in-AWW:

What does "Cut it out, Ron!" mean?
http://www.spamfaq.net/terminology.shtml#ritzman

I really miss his parody Usenet posts.
