It's embedded in the email.  And you probably can save it.  The email  
might have a js lockout or something, or it might be Flash, but save the  
email as a separate file and then open it and try to save the pic. 
 
If "paste" is blacked-out, try ctrl-V.  Possibly you need to  
disable/customize your javascript, but I've never seen that locally with  
mail.
