I was speaking from a /user/ standpoint (and personal preference).
Unfortunately, it's part of the design vs. usability tradeoff, just like
any other computer interface, I guess. After all, one of the most
flexible and powerful of user interfaces (the command line) is also the
least sexy and therefore, the least popular. :-)
