Right now, I can't justify dropping $$$ on a package like those. Plus, I
want to write the code for the educational value.

Oh, it is. It's just that waiting 30 seconds at a minimum every time I
want to see a change I've made will get old fast. I'm going to keep
looking for an alternative. I've known of REXX for years, but just
didn't realize it was that slow.
