You could in theory just use Microsoft's built-in backup tool, though you'd
have to schedule a job to export the SQL Server database as you'll have
problems with open files. The usual starting point for an small to medium
installation that deals with the SQL Server open file issue for you is to
look at the options from Veritas, which are popular and relatively
inexpensive, though Dantz (now EMC) Retrospect also has an SQL Server
add-on.
