A bit off-topic but:
I have been using Smarty for more than three years now, my group
having written around 150 applications using Smarty and our own
OO framework and I think I know what it is all about, I simply
cannot make my living without Smarty :)
However, for a couple of reasons I tried to find something similar
to work with in Java (JSP or Java servlets) and the only alternatives
I found Struts and Jakarta Standard-Taglibs. These, however, are far
from the level Smarty has been from the very beginning. Has
anyone come up with a good Smarty-like solution in JSP/Servlets?
If not, I will end up writing a Smarty-to-JSP converter, sigh...
