For a poll i'm writing the user will be able to select how long the poll
is to run for .

1-28 days , So it needs to use the time as well or a 1 day poll created
at 11:55pm would only be available for 5 minutes .

The poll will store the date/time created and the date/time its due to
end at .

The first user to look at the poll after the end date/time will trigger
its closer checking routine rather using a cron job .

- how do I create the 1-28 days end date/time

- how do I check it against the creation date time

If a 20 day poll is created on 25th Dec 2005 the end date/time will of
course need to roll over into 2006 .
