 I just would like to point out that it is even more convenient if you copy
 the manual corresponding to your version to your local drive (and book
 mark it too!).
 
 On redhat I didn't even need to do that, I just selected the php options
 during the install and the correct documentation was all there waiting for
 me.
 
 You can use something like "cd /; find | grep php | grep index" to find
 where it is if necessary, and bookmark it after you find it.
