I have a need to automate the testing of the HTML interface on a
server. The general form of a test would be:

Request the page from the server
Set a value on the form
Submit the form
Request the page again and check that the change I made is reflected
Lather, Rinse, Repeat

It seems to me that a webserver using PHP sitting on another server
might be the answer to my problem, even though all I know about PHP is
how to spell it. Does this seem reasonable to you in PHP land? I think
what I want is a version of a formbot.
