New installations: Apache2, PHP5, MySQL4(winXP); so far so good, except...
....when adding the MySQL extension in php.ini (extension=php_mysql.dll) with
the "extension_dir" set to the valid directory, I get an error that php is
unable to load the dynamic library (displays the correct path to the
php_mysql.dll file) claiming that it can't find it. The fact is it displays
the exact path to the file it claims it can't find!! So I'm thinking
something else is not configured correctly, though I've gone through all the
docs I could find in this regard. Everything is working except for PHP
loading MySQL module. I'm sure that this is merely an oversight on my part,
but I can't find it.
Can anyone point me to a possible solution? Or at least some places to look?
