comp.databases.mysql made it, after some controversy, a retroactive decision
to apply more lenient voting rules to the group, and soon after there was a
collapse of the long-standing Big-8 newsgroup voting system - it's been
replaced now by a different system.
You should contact your ISP if you haven't got access to the group.
