Yes, this is exactly what you want, a text file. Word won't generate
ordinary text files by default, it generates Word documents. You're
better off using Wordpad or Notepad (Both come with Windows) and making
sure that the filetype you save as is plain text.

You keep referring to the extension as .pgp, I hope you realize that it
is .php.
