Well I guess the answer to the question is no. This is my first dealing
with PHP. I am not a programer of any kind actually. The reason I wanted
to delete the file on the client computer was for a small project I am
working. I wrote some code that tracks the changes the user makes to a
database, these changes are recorded to the a text file that the user can
upload to a webpage that has a php script in it. After the file is uploaded
the script reads the file and applies all the database changes to another
database. If would just be nice if the log file would get deleted. I will
just write some code in the software that creates the file that will ask the
user if the file has been uploaded and then delete it.
