Thanks so much for the response. I must have installed it wrong but it
seemed pretty straight-forward and I also tried using an all in one
install like apachetriad which supposedly installs everything without
hardly any user input.

My only question is this. If PHP is installed correctly on my PC
shouldn't I simply be able to click on index.php and have internet
explorer open it and run it like a regular web page and not just
display script?
