I hope to get someone who posts on ebay and is familiar with it...

I was asked to create a template for a friend. She sells on ebay and her
auction page includes several images of the items (paintings) she's selling.
The format is awful and she doesn't want to spend the money for the 'extras'
ebay offers to make her images stand out more, what she really needs is high
res. images.

So what I would like to know, if anyone here knows, are sellers allowed to
copy/paste php code in the description? I imagine the description section is
where people enter their html about their product so this is where you would
paste the template? (I haven't sold on ebay in a while, can you tell? )

All the template would be doing is calling her images from her web site. The
reason I want to use php rather than html is because I want to create an
admin section on her personal web site where all she would need to do is
fill in a form for her auction description and use a file browser to upload
the appropriate photo from her PC to a folder which adds the path to her
database and into the template, then all she would need to do is copy/paste
the code into her auction. She does not know anything about html or coding
so an API would be nice for her and it will render a nicely formatted
auction page when visited.

Does anyone know if something like this is allowed or does ebay even support
php??
