Internet Explorer has built in functionality, and yes there are ActiveX
controls out there. But like most of Microsoft's stuff:
1) you'll need to replace it in 4 years
2) it only works with other Microsoft stuff
I used to use FCKeditor mostly, but recently came across tineMCE
(http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/documentation.php) which seems (IMHO) easier
to use/more functional than FCKeditor.
