Alright, for the past six or seven months, I've been creating this
program through basic php, html, javascript, and css, which enables you
to create a website (for myspace.com's template). The computer in which
I have been building it on is set in a room that doesn't allow me to
have access to the internet. I have heard of programs that you can
download onto your computer that will let you test out what scripts you
have written, without any source of internet whatsoever. I haven't been
able to find one. If someone was to locate one for me, I would deeply
appreciate it.
I've also been creating this template for one of my personal sites
within the past month, and I have come across several situations that I
would like to include some php into the coding, but I just don't have a
single clue as to go about doing so. What I would like to do is make a
file that I would store information on, then have it linked (through
php - hopefully) to the index.htm page when the page is requested. If
someone could write me a script, or better yet, a link to a good
tutorial on how to do it myself, that would be awesome.
The last thing I have been trying to do kinda runs hand-in-hand with
the problem above. I want to be able to put some statistics onto my
webtemplate that I am making, sorta like webalizer allows me to do. I
would love to have as much information put publically onto my website
as possible (so that I don't have to keep checking into my cpanel
account everytime I want to do something like this. Again, a script
would be nice, but a full tutorial would be the best, so that I can
actually attempt to learn it.
Thanks in advance for the help!
