I am designing a web site for a concierge-type company, where a client
calls with a need for a particular type of contractor. The dispatcher
then needs to search for contractors by skillset and location, which is
easy to program, but also by availability.
It's this last part that has me stumped - I need a calendaring system
where each contractor can log in and mark off blocks of time when they
are (or are not) available, and then somehow include this in the search
criteria.
Does anyone know of a ready-made system, or can think of how I could
build one? I'm perfectly capable in PHP and MySQL, but conceptually I'm
struggling here.
