Ahhhhhh.....
Now I see why and how I need to use this function!
Thanks so much for your help - I'm fairly new to PHP and mySQL but I've
learned a awful lot from reading helpful posts such as yours :o)
I have some other related questions but will see how far I get
implementing a fpassthru()-type solution before posting :o)
