just to add another detail, executing phpinfo I get

open_basedir =
/opt/apache/htdocs:/tmp:/opt/ferozo/suspended.page:/opt/ferozo/etc/suspension

executing
echo "Server Path: ". $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."<br>";
I get
Server Path: /opt/apache/htdocs
