Well then. Hopefully that guy with the thick glasses over in the last
cubicle has had the IT department up his font size...
Before I retired, I was a senior P/A for a fair-sized marketing firm.
Among many other things we did, we had a call center. Everyone there was
allowed to adjust their monitor's font size (as were all the sales
execs, key-punch girls, managers, folks in the warehouse, etc) because
not everyone has the same vision.
I know you probably think I am over-stressing this point, but sometime
in the future, it may come in handy for you.

You were supposed to get that you *have parts of the previous post* (the
quote) included with your post. See above? Your comments, with my
comments interspersed. The (major) reason for this is that Usenet posts
do not propagate around the planet in any kind of FIFO order. If your
reply happened to show up on someone's news server before my post, the
reader would have no idea what you are talking about.
This is not a web site. This is Usenet. Very few people use Google
Groups to do Usenet; only those who don't have access to a news server,
or don't know yet.
