Attitude or otherwise, I agree with saz, Gufus. The stuff you are
asking questions about is pretty much stuff that one could and should
learn easily on his own. A _general_ answer to your table question
would be "Use css," but if you knew _any_ css, you wouldn't have asked
the question in the first place because it is _basic_ css we are talking
about.
Any page maker (or Web designer) trying to get along today without css
is like a Quaker in the fold. And "Whatever" is exactly what I think
when I read questions such as yours.
