If you're trying to assign a property of a variable variable to
another objects property you sure as fuck need it (well in
Actionscript anyway).
You don't need it if you're doing it in reverse though, like nyah:
"dates._"+i+"._x" = whatever_variable;

The calendar is now fully automated, unlike the one on my Hatter blog
which requires a bit of manual number assigning. Tomorrow I'll add in
the PHP backbone for the blog entries, then the day after that I'll
program a variable scroll bar and it should be mostly ready to go.
Blog entries will be underlined (I think that'll look better than
changing the font color).
The neat part is that I can use the base code of the wedding blog as a
template for my Hatter blog and other potential blog sites. I've been
thinking about creating like a user-skinable blog. It'd be like
blogger, but you'd be able to download the base graphics, alter them,
then reupload them to your account to have a truly custom blog...only
downside is that it'd require a bit of skill in a graphics proggie,
but for graphic artists who want a custom blog without a lot of skill
in web programming it'd be ideal.
