Hi, I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, if it
isn't, which would be the best place to ask it?
I am a client with Godaddy. On it, I created one MYSQL Database with One
table in it. The table has 5 text fields.
Then I created a .CSV file with 270 records in it, each with 5 fields. It's
very standard. Nothing strange about it.
I'd like to upload this file into the table. I spoke with support and they
told me that I needed to open up the MYSQL account manager, choose "Show
Processes">"Edit"> and then lastly Import Files. From there I got a window,
which allowed me to choose the file, (Though the pushbutton said "open.")
I picked the file, pushed on the pushbutton named "GO" and had to wait about
5 minutes to only get a message that it couldn't open the page.
I was never asked which database to import into, let alone which table. It
never showed that it imported it into it.
Is it possible to import. I do see plenty of export, but not import.
Thanks!
Kees
