Well, I am able to see the images. However, all the images are squished
and ugly because the spcified width and height is diffrerent from the
actual image width and height. Just take the width and height out of your
HTML code alltogether if you are not sure how to use it.
You would be better off starting from scratch on this one. If the purpose
of this page is to host images of ebay listings, then try simplifying a
bit. Why not keep it very, very simple and just make the page a
description of the item and then each image, witha description, scrolling
all down the page.
Like:
Description....yaddayadd yadda yadda...
Description of Image 1
[IMAGE 2]
Description of Image 2
[IMAGE 3]
Description of Image 3
etc...
This will at least have the effect of providing a solution to your
problem, even if ir doesn't *look* A1-professionally designed. Although
right now your current attempt doesn't look so professional either. Don't
take that personally -- just telling it like it is. Think of me as the
Simon Cowell of web design.
After you have learned what you need to from that simple exercise, learn
a little more and get a little fancier. But don't try too much at once!
Honestly, I don't know why people think web design and development is
going to come super easy with no work involved (I'm not trying to imply
that you think that is the case). I have spent many many years working
hard to get the skillset I have. And I am not a very good *designer* by
any stretch, mostly because I have focused on web programming vs web
design. My point is merely that you probably don't know anything about
brain surgery, so jump in right away by cracking open someone's skull.
Try removing a splinter first. hmmm.... Maybe I am getting a bit off
topic. oh, well, that's the way it goes sometimes. Like I was telling my
friend Andrew just the other day... I said, "Andrew, you can't just jump
right into brain surgery!" and he looked up from the cracked skull of his
wife's cat and says to me, "well, its a whole lotta good you've done
telling me that *now*!" Oh how we laughed! He never did get that cat
back together quite right, and it tends to walk in circles now when it
tries to go anywhere, but, like I said, another story and all that.
What was the question again?
